In this paper, we have presented a type of testing device for thereal-time measurement of stress and temperature field to the vehicleengine case and cylinder head. The device's features list as follows:The whole system adopts collective-distributive structure that ismade of laptop, portable mother-system and micro-subsystems. Themicro-subsystem can be placed on the measured object and finish signalconditioning and A/D conversing, The whole process is fulfilled underthe control of computer and mother-system. The system has functionsof simple operation, high intelligence degree, auto-counterbalancefor bridge circuit, scaling & value reading, display, printing, dataanalyzing & processing, and so on. It also can measure several pointsat the same time and setup 64-channels at the beginning. It can beexpanded to more channels on needing. Maximum acquisition rate canreach l2500 times/channel per second, A/D converter is l0 bits. Itscapacity is large, says, the basic storage is 64K/channel.Furthermore, it can apply for the measurement of pressure, force andother physical parameters with somewhat change to the subsystems. Wealso have made an exploration to the technology about anti-noise andmade an all-round conclusion to the theory and experience aboutanti-interference. The paper also discusses the problems (such asinfluence of environment temperature and humidity, influence of longwire and contact resistance) arising during the course of test andoffers some solving methods.
