Vehicle License Based On The The Kl Transformation Of Automatic Identification Technology Research And Implementation,

The auto-segmentation and realization of vehicle licence was mainly concerned in this paper. In general, it can be divided into two parts: the auto-segmentation of the vehicle licence and the auto-recognition of the licence character.In the part of the auto-segmentation and auto-location of the vehicle licence, we use the method based on the idea of two dimention color histogram. Firstly, in order to reduce the color message, we cluster the color of the whole vehicle image into eight colors. Secondly, we get the two dimention color histogram from the vehicle image. Third, we search the vehicle licence based on the geometric and color property of licence automatically from the vehicle image.As for the part of the auto-recognition of the licence character, a method based on K-L transform was presented First , the color of the licence image was simplified by thresholding; Second , we adjust the inclination of the licence to keep it in the horizontal level; Third, we get the two dimention histogram of the licence and cut its character automatically based on the histogram; At last,we recognize the character of the licence based on the mothed of the K-L thransform.The experimental result show that the proposed approach is excellent in accruarcy velocity and robostness.
