Based On The Design And Development Of Xml Technology, Online Bidding System

e-Tender System is a relatively integrated E-Commerce solution plan based on XML technology. We establish an online tendering exchange platform centered in site, through which employers, bidders and evaluators can exchange data. It helps to ensure open, justice and impartiality of tendering and to avoid illegal behaviors. This paper mainly discusses the following issues: (1) Introduce the definition and development of E-Commerce, pointing out XML抯 situation in E-Commerce Application. (2) Discuss XML basic knowledge, including the development of Web language, characteristic and mostly applications of XML. (3) Discuss remote procedure call and HTTP, also the application of SOAP encoded with XML in e-Tender System. (4) Propose e-Tender design plan, including system conceptual objective, service object, applicable scope, business flow; system function analysis and technology frame. (5) Emphasize the application of XML technology in e-Tender, including the combination of EDt and XML, XML schemas and the process in information exchange between clients and site server using HTTP/SOAP. As an important project member, the author joined to discuss and compile collective plan, conceptual design, detailed design, in charge of finishing all XML schemas definition in e-Tender system, also implementing the programs of information transfer and communication between clients and server. As an electronic business application system, e-Tender system adopts a successful XML schema Biztalk as its mainly information carrier form. It takes full advantage of XML抯 good structure, excellent extensibility, independent of platform, thus makes medium-sized and minitype enterprises coequally participate in business activities through Internet. Also, XMLIEDI working pattern assures compatibility to existent electronic data interchange system. e-Tender system is easy to configure, and has excellent extensibility and applicability.
