Phase Noise Test Data Processing And Host System Software Development,

This article is concentrated on data processing, mainly including spectrum estimation and error compensation, and system software developing which applied in a kind of phase noise measurement system.After analyzing the implementation of the host in details, this article brings forward a series of formula on spectrum estimation and error compensation of low frequency lost, and studies the means of reducing the A/D truncation error. Base on the theoretic analysis, the system software of the real measurement host has been developed, which includes soft panel of instrument~. phase noise extracting and acquiring self-adaptive controlling module, spectrum estimation module, self-adaptive error compensation (including error compensation of amplifier gain of noise channel ) module, data displaying and outputting module. Controlled by the system software, the host can measure the phase noise of signal source to be test automatically.Showed from the result of experiment, the theoretic analysis above can be verified, and the system software operated easily and working reliably.
