The Multimedia Computer?s Remote Monitoring System (MCRMONS) is a standard monitoring specification that enables various network monitors and console systems to exchange network梞onitoring data. The MCRMONS has been gradually used widely in the area of Security Monitoring桟ontrol and manufacture process Monitoring桟ontrol. Now more and more users have interested in the MCRMONS. This system adopted JavaTM Media Framework (shortened form JMF) as exploitation platform. With JMF, you can easily create Java applets and Java applications that present, capture, manipulate and store time梑ased media, because JMF provides a unified architecture and messaging protocol for managing the acquisition, processing, and delivery time梑ased media data. JMF provides a common cross梡latform Java API for accessing media frameworks. JMF is designed to support most standard media content types, such as AIFF, AU, AVI, GSM, MIDJ, MPEG, QuickTime, RMF and WAy. The real梩ime effect is expected for the transmitting time梑ased media data on the network. RTP protocol is a standard protocol for implementing transmitting of real梩ime data stream. RTP is adopted and implemented in the JMF.RTP provides end梩o梕nd network delivery services for the transmission of real梩ime data. RTP is protocol independent of the network and transmitting protocol , though it is often used over UDP. JMF provides two categories optimize technologies concerning transmitting media stream, i.e. 損ush?and 損ull?technologies. Push梩he server initiates data transfer and controls the data flow . For example, Real梩ime Transport Protocol(RTP) is a push protocol used for streaming media. In this thesis the module of transmitting real梩ime media stream and media file from local computer to remote computer adopts namely 損ush?technology. Pull梔ata transfer is initiated and controlled from the client side.For example,Hypertext Transfer Protocol(HTTP) and FILE are pull ~f JMF ft4~~tJJ~ protocols. In this thesis the module of playing media file on the local computer from remote computer adopts namely 損ull?technology. In this thesis the two categories optimize technologies 損ush?and pull ?which concerning transmitting media stream were emphatic researched, and were successful applied for establishing the Multimedia Computer?s Remote Monitoring System (MCRMONS), quickens and predigests the exploiture task of application system. In this thesis the hardware structure and the designing scenario of software function modules of this system are explained in detail. It presents a kind of complete designing and implementation scenario from hardware to software.This system enhances the independence, autonomy, reusability and easy maintainability of the program codes with the OOP.
