With the rapid~ development of petrochemical industry., energy engineering, iron and steel industry, It's urgent to develop high performance, high efficiency compressor. A constraint which often limits the performance-rise capability of compressors is the occurrence of rotating stall and surging which may cause disastrous results in most of the cases. Active control technology is a simple novel control method in the compressor rotating stall and surge control .By real time, active control method , it enable the whole unit work at highest efficiency at design and off-design points . It has great theoretic and potential economic benefits. At present it has attracted the attention of many researchers and scholars. One of the key technology in active control is the right prediction of rotating stall and the parameter changing formula. Base upon a general analysis of the current situation in this field, a visualized numerical analysis system of the cascade flow is developed aiming at the correct prediction of the rotating stall. However, as time is limited, only the first part of the whole project is finished and verified. Further work is still needed to predict the rotating stall.
