In this paper, based on the existing software testing theories and with regard to thehigh demand of reliability of space software, a software testing system for micro-satellite CASCOM-1 has been presented that involves testing requirements,strategies and methods concerning with test case design, test coverage requirement,etcFirst the paper introduced basic theories and ordinary methods about software testincluding the conceptions of software error and software quality, the theories ofblack and white box test, object oriented software test, software testing tools, etcSecondly the paper designed a software test frame for the micro-satellite, anddiscussed the application of test tools using LOGISCOPE as an example On thebasis of the traditional black-box testing method, the paper brings forward theapplication methods of genetic algorithm in black box test including the optimizationof test case design and the fast fault onentation of softwareFinally a hardware platform is sketched out for testing the tolerance and rectificationabilitles of the software based on the theories of fault injection...
