How to orthoscopicly attenuate the high power laser and how tomeasure the jitter and drift of the high power beam centroid are twocritical issues in measuring the parameter of it. Basing on some set ofdevices that had been developed and applied before, a measuring methodwas presented in this thesis that a small integrating sphere made fromgraPhite was used as laser allenuator and a photorecdtifier array was usedto detect the intensity distribution of the atnenuated laser. Structure of therapid response target for the high power laser was described. Theattenuation of the small integrating sphere was calculated by Monte-Carlosimulation. Target testing experiment with respect to low and high powerlaser was analyzed. The rationality and feasibility to of the rapid responsetarget for measuring the parameter of the high power laser was verified bycomparing experiment results and simulating calculation.
