With the development of society, the three-dimensional scanning technology is used w idely, particularly in research and application aroused widespread domestic and foreign sch olars and experts in the way of real-time monitoring of high slope areas. In the implemen tation process of the project, we found some contradictions constitute 3D scan data of the object is larger and complex structure and limited network bandwidth between the researc h for this article of this issue and practice.The issue stems from Guizhou Province of major industrial research projects, research key Rapid Assessment System 3D data model compatible with network transmission. In t he implementation process of the project, experience the following problems: First, how la rge three-dimensional model on the display, and how after faster, better and more accurate display in the client; the second is how the three-dimensional model transmission network,its unique structural features and network data transmission technology which is associate d attributes; Third, in the data reduction, data compression algorithm which under the pre mise of changing the properties of the object, so that the three-dimensional model data is minimized.By looking, reading a lot of literature and experimental, this paper work are: first, re search and application of appropriate data transfer technology three-dimensional model. In the three-dimensional data acquisition and pre-processing stage model, the model found in the package, if the vector model of irregular triangular network technology, combined with LOD technology, making LOD technology in the realization of the model of hierarchical display, can be based not regular triangular network model number of feature points extrac ted to achieve the layering technique, whereby the three-dimensional model display functio n can be realized in the theory of the client; second, before transferring three-dimensional data model, as far as possible before the three-dimensional data streamlining transmission.When at the stratified display, using the LOD technology and techniques TIN models fea ture point extraction, which can achieve data compression streamlining. The three-dimensio nal model of the mean curvature set threshold, depending on the curvature, select the vector angle method to streamline the data, namely, the achievement of the tunnel and the tun nel-shaped section of key parts without distortion data; and third, by studying learning tra ditional compression algorithms, combined application basis point cloud data characteristics and pre-LOD technology, proposed new road detection algorithm for data compression. F ourthly, the three-dimensional model data and traditional data after experiments comparing data compression techniques, analysis and validation of the feasibility of the new algorith m.
