In order to strengthen the management of equipment defects, establish a perfect scientific management mechanism and defective management system network platform, find and erase a variety of equipment detects, raise the level of equipment constantly, realize the production information resource sharing, and ensure the equipment safety、 stability and economic operation, this paper sets to introduce the background of defective management system、the significance of research project、the same systematic research and the present application, and demonstrates the research content and main work, together with related systematic development methodologies and technologies. At present, the system has been put into application in Guanyinyan Hydropower station. What is more, it has been fully affirmed by its customers.The purpose of this paper starts to solve the problems of defective management system of Guanyiyan Hydropower station so that it enhances the level of defective management and efficiency as well as ensures the sustainability and permanency of defective tracking. In business analysis, the organizations、the overall issues、the original business process and process reengineering as well as project feasibility are analyzed. Meanwhile, this paper shows the original business process and reengineering of each functional module. In functional analysis, this paper demonstrates the entire and sub-function structure diagram of the system including basic data management, defective detection、recording、confirmation、 notifications、treatments、inspection and elimination plans as well as systematic management function module on the basis of data flow analysis、data dictionary and the function of the system,. In data analysis, this study analyzes systematic data which needs to deal with and shows the entity relationship diagram (E-R diagram) and the establishment of main database structure. Finally, the author summarizes the content and main work which has done in this paper, meanwhile, points out shortcomings of the present study and directions of future work.
