Research And Analysis On Scientific Research Project And Achievement Registration Management System Of Zhejiang University

Scientific-Research managementis an important part of the internal management in universities and colleges. To develop a scientific-research management system which is multi-functional, easy to operate and online-to-offline interactive, will not only improve management efficiency, but also offer scientific evidence for leaders’ decision-making, the college’s discipline development and laboratory construction, as well asfor cultivationof scientific research teams and talents. With the upcoming era of digital campuses, it is urgent for universities and colleges to build anonline scientific research management system which is highly flexible, reliable, secure, scalable, reusable and maintainable.The first part of the paper proceeds from the status quo in Zhejiang University City College. With the current scientific-research project and achievement registration management system as the research background, this part analyzes the significance of developing an informatized management system for scientific research, elaborates its current study and future application. This part has explicitly pointed out the research to be done in this paper and the main work of the author.The second part of the paper probes into the scientific-research management in Zhejiang University City College and makes a detailed analysis of the problems existing in the previous management system as well as the previous structure and working procedure, and then puts forward a new and optimized working procedure for scientific research management.The third part of the paper focuses on the functions of the scientific-research management system. It analyzes the functions and system case use, and based on which, this part presents a general function diagram and sub-function diagrams of the system, including sub-function diagrams for project approval management, achievement registration management, patent registration management, awards registration management, conference registration management and system management.The fourth part of the paper focuses on data analysis, and analyzes relevant data which are processed in each sub-function system, and then provides an entity relationship diagram and builds a data base structure.Finally, the paper makes a summary of the above research and analysis,elaborates the main job of the author, as well as points out possible shortcomingsofthispaper, and discusses about further research to be done.
