Digital campus construction has developed rapidly in higher vocational colleges in recent years. The using of advanced information management platform for scientific laboratory managent is an inexorable trend. The poor efficiency of manual management mode on environmental monitoring in Minxi Vocational and Technical college can not meet the needs of increasing complex monitoring service. So this paper aims to analyse and design the development of the Managemet System of Environmental Testing Laboratory in Minxi Vocational and Technical College.Firstly, this paper introduces the research background about the management system of environment testing laboratory in Minxi Vocational and Technical College and the current studies on the laboratory management system at home and abroad. Seconly, it discusses the significance and application value of developing the management system of environmental testing laboratory according to the business needs of that in Minxi Vocational and Technical College. It presents the system design goal by carrying out a detailed analysis of demands which include business needs, functional needs and data needs, ect. It presents scientific business flow diagrams, use case diagrams, conceptual graphs and case descriptions. In the system design, it carries on the overall design and moduel design, which includes six functional moduels, such as management of standards, magement of consumable materials, magement of samples, management of original records, maganement of test reports and system management. It also presents the functional structure diagrams (or package giagram), class diagrams, sequence diagrams (or collaboration diagrams) and processing flow charts. It states the content of the design in detail. The database is designed in detail by using the entity class diagrams, ER diagrams and database table structures. Finally, it summarizes the main content of the study, states the author’s main work, points out the shortcomings of the paper and put forwards the further research.
