Under the call of the harmonious society of lifelong learning and creating a national science, the role of Dongguan science and technology museum is particularly prominent. However, traditional management mode can’t meet the needs of the reality already, and management problems which are in urgent need of a scientific and effective management system occurs. To begin with, this paper introduces the research background of Dongguan science and technology museum activities management information system; the problems which need to be solved are reviewed. The significance and importance of this research for the project are discussed. Moreover, the goals of system design are put forward in this paper. And then, the requirement analysis for Dongguan science and technology museum activities management information system is discussed, including business requirement analysis, functional requirements analysis and data requirement analysis. Furthermore, this paper also designs business process diagrams, case diagrams, concept of class diagrams of this system, and describes a case description.In addition, the overall design and module design of the system are designed in the system design, including training course management, information management, signing up of activities and training, fund management, activity analysis and statistics, log management, user management and role management and so on. It also designs a specific module design package diagram, class diagrams, sequence diagrams and process flow chart, stating the detailed design contents and conducts the interface design, using the entity class diagram, entity-relationship diagrams (E-R chart) and database table structure to design in detail for the database.Last but not least, the contents of the study is summarized, the main work are stated, the deficiencies exist in this paper are pointed out, and the work to do in future is proposed.
