With the rapid development of computer display hardware and projection display technology, the multi-projector display system has been widely used in many fields, such as military simulation, edutainment, digital cinema and exhibition. People have strong demand for the high resolution and strong immersion display technology. So more and more researchers are paying close attention to build efficient large size and high resolution multi-projector display system.However, with the increasement number of multi-projector projects, files related to the projects will be increased a lot. Many current multi-projector display systems lack of project files management, users should locate and manager project files by themself, and they can use network disk to solve the insufficient storage space of local storage system. But when using network disk to upload files, users usually package all of project files to upload, which will cause a duplicate uploading for a same video resource file. As a result, the storage efficient is low. Besides, the authorization ways for the traditional multi-projector display systems are unitary, so the systems have security risks.According to the above problems and disadvantages, this article has proposed a cloud computing based multi-projector display system architecture based on the Internet based multi-projector display system. First, this system deployed the original online management platform to the Amazon AWS cloud server. It has implemented the online project files management which supporting uploading and downloading slice texture and video files of the project onto the cloud. Then, users can select some of the files to upload according to the needs of the project, which has improved the storage efficient. This allows operator to manage all of his project files. Moreover, in order to improve the security of the system, system uses softdog to authorize users, users can use different ways of software authorization depending on the circumstance of their projects. Finally, this system support collecting the security information of the calibration project, which includes storing machine codes of calibration servers and softdog codes used by each server in the cloud database. This has enhanced the system security.This system has been tested on a display wall of Software School of Fudan University. And the experimental results have shown:first, the security module can give different authorization based on the payment of the projector number and the actual projector number when doing project. Then, it also offer different ways to update the softdog, including online update, QR code update and etc. Moreover, operators can manage all of their projects through online project management conveniently. Finally, we use the multi-projector calibration manager to do the multi-projector joint and calibration operation. And it will have a nice view on the display wall when playing the video.
