Research On Guangling Library

Yangzhou Guangling Publishing House’s predecessor was Jiangsu Guangling Ancient Books Engraving and Printing Agency which was founded in 1960 and was mainly engaged in ancient blocks collection, sorting, repair and printing work. In 2002, the General Administration of Press and Publication issued a document agreed to formally established Guangling Publishing House.As a local ancient book publishing house, Guangling Publishing House is shouldering the responsibility of inheritance and production of the Intangible Cultural Heritage-- woodblock printing, and adhering to the production of the thread-bound books as its characteristic. For more than ten years, Guangling Publishing House has made remarkable achievements in the ancient books publishing.Based on the research of Guangling Publishing House as the center, this paper analyzes its historical origin and its features of publication. Focus on its characteristic the woodblock printing research, comprehensively analyze thread-bound book, photocopying documents, collation of ancient books, local culture and other unique publishing models. Study the present comprehensive development of Guangling Publishing House, analyzes its recent book publishing,staff assessment and maintenance methods, explore the future development of Guangling Publishing House.
