Wireless sensor network technology has achieved rapid development in recent years. ZigBee is a kind of important wireless sensor technology. It has many advantagements like low power consumption and low rate, ad-hoc network, low cost, etc. ZigBee technology can be widely used in environmental monitoring, agricultural and industrial automation, building automation, object orientation, health care, consumer electronics and other fields. Wireless location and environmental monitoring are the important application of ZigBee technology. At present, many research institutions have obtained some achievements. This paper study on the research about group location based on ZigBee and environment monitoring.According to the above description, the research plan is made as follo wings:A wireless sensing network based on ZigBee is requested to build.In the network, the distance between the artillerys can be gotten by signal attenuation characteristics. Lab VIEW software gets the position information by localization algorithm. The position information can be displayed and controlled.This research collect environmental parameters as well. The artillery automatic positioning disposal system based on ZigBee hardware and software design are completed in the research. In the aspect of hardware, power supply part, antenna simulation, serial communication module and sensor module are designed.In the aspect of software, nodes-networking RSSI data sending to CPU are done.. Lab VIEW software gets the position information by using localization algorithm.The position information is in the coordinate system and control. Temperature and humidity, infrared and smoke sensor data can be displayed on the upper machine.Finally, An automatic positioning and environmental monitoring experiment system of cannon group is built based on ZigBee.The reliability and stability of network data transmission are verified. The characteristics of the signal attenuation characteristics are verified.The effectiveness of the localization algorithm is verified.The accuracy and real-time performance of the sensor parameters are also verified. Research results show that the design of dynamic reference node group positioning technology research has a certain reference value, also shows that the design helps to improve battlefield survivability.
