With the development of communication system of transition from the traditional to the modern, satellite communications in the global communication system has play a decisive role. Satellite communication system is composed of a single star early, with the United States pioneered the use of multi satellite constellation for data communications, satellite communications systems to develop gradually from a single business and single beam, single frequency point to a complex task, multi beam, wideband, multi channel. This trend prompted the production of flexible transponder. As a wide band signals on orbit reconfigurable and flexible forwarding satellite equipment, flexible transponder has both bending type transponder flexibility, but also has the regenerative transponder usury to system resources utilization.This paper presents a new kind of design method of data forwarding load on the satellite equipment. It also has the broadband data channel, and the use of exchange capacity transparent forwarding of channelized broadband data network, we name it flexible transponder. The transponder reference transponder technology American "WGS" constellation, and reference group technology to design polyphase filter realization of a broadband signal on the star analysis and synthesis, exchange technology to realize the multiple channel exchange between any frequency band signal after, arbitrary, arbitrary beam between sub bands using circuit. The thesis focuses on the study on the exchange system of broadband flexible transponder, the use of high speed data processing technology and "T-S-T" digital switching network structure design of the exchange system. In terms of hardware selection of implementation scheme of Virtex4 series chip design system produced by Xilinx company, is used in the process of multiple kernel includes Serdes high speed interface, write Verilog HDL program, using Modelsim simulation of the program before. At the same time also on the Matlab "T-S-T" routing algorithm simulation. Finally, the design of hardware products and other peripheral equipment debugging, analysis of the obtained results can be combined in debugging function and performance of the whole design scheme is verified.Finally, make a summary to the full paper, based on the existing research content and achievements, the author puts forward the future research direction and expectations.
