Because of the excellent performance, phased array technology has been widely applied. Phased array can be shifted instantly from a target to another by electric scanning, which enhances the probability of capturing and tracing multiple targets. Phased array radar jamming system can also get the same flexibility as radar. The jammer can distribute the jammer power to multiple menace targets, and switch a menace target to another as well.Base on the actual state of development direction of jammer technology in the world, this thesis has studied intensively phased array technology by combining with concrete engineering application and analyzing phased array principle of operation, theory analyzing and laboratory simulation. It has presented an engineering design and implementation scheme about solid-state high-power phased array jamming technology, and solved the problem of multiple objectives and direction interference technology in the engineering application on the whole.The jammer designed in this thesis works at P band and adopts an active phased array, which has10rows and4columns. The array units are log periodic dipole antenna, each followed by a high-power solid-state amplifier. The transmitting power can gain maximum megawatt magnitude through the space synthesis. The transmitting beam is coinstantaneous double beam at azimuth, so it can interfere two targets coming from different direction at the same time. Each beam can scan in the range of±45°at azimuth plane. The performance of the system meets well with the use requirements by the system test and outfield experimentation.
