Seiyuu Fan refers to the fans who are addicted to seiyuu in Japan.Under the background of developing new media in this century, seiyuu fan clubs are being set up and becoming booming via network virtual community.Fans,particularly young generation who are deeply influenced utilize this public cyberspace for information exchanges and cultural communication. As a result of the diversity between China and Japan, contents which are inappropriate to be spread in China probably be exposed on Internet. This deviant behavior makes sense to explore the questions of reasonability towards spreading and the mode of exposing.The thesis takes an online platform which is familiar to Chinese seiyuu fans named "3n5b" BBS as the object of the research. With an analysis of members’deviant behavior, the whole process of public performance on forum could be discussed in detail.Firstly we’d like to introduce this forum accompanied with the environment for the growth of seiyuu fans. Then focus on fans’ individual deviant behavior regarding to two crucial problems—"why be" and "why do" for the purpose of explaining its psychological and social causes.After that, with the overall view of the forum operation, the definition of "deviant behavior" should be determined in order to make the bottom line of "spreading" clear. Passing through varied perspective of "public performance",this thesis attempts to make a conclusion of "deviant behavior" and expects to provide reference for seiyuu fan study.
