In year2010, there are two breaking society news occured in China. One is indiscriminated killings commited in the kintergardens and schools, the other is the world biggest OEM factory, Foxconn,12workers of Foxconn Shenzhen division commited suicide or tried to kill themselves during only two months.The study starts with such questions:did media reports deepened these situations? What role did media act?Is it possible that their report induces the serial copycat suicides and relative negative effects? What social liability should media to take? What news ethics should media to comply with? By analyzing the reports of such unexpected events, the study will focus on the relations between media and event development, ethical dilemma media would possibly face, and try to find a proper and balanced way to deal with it.
