In recent years, with the development of mobile network and pervasive computing, users’geographic information is paid an increasing attention. More and more services involved in entertainment and life need the support provided by location based service. Location technology is a prerequisite and key to implement location based service.Existing location technology can be divided into indoor and outdoor location according to the application scenarios. After a long time’s development, outdoor location has made great progress. However, existing location estimation technology, especially in the indoor environments, cannot satisfy the needs of commercial operation and promotion due to poor performance in use cost, application range, portability and location accuracy.After analyzing the principle and drawback of the existing indoor location technology, this paper proposes and implements a brand new indoor location technology which is based on encoding and decoding of high-frequent voice. This paper focuses on the research of frequency characteristic of high-freq voice and how to design and implement the encoding and decoding algorithm, aiming to invent an encoding and decoding technology using high-freq signal with sufficient efficiency, stability and reliability both on theory and practice. The research will include how the high-frequency actuation influences the distribution of high ingredients, how to design encoding rule by introducing meta-information concept and how to decoding the unordered signal data. By applying this technology to the indoor location, mobile equipment can locate its position among the indoor environment in real-time.
