With the rapid development of information technology, people put forward higher requirements for learning, look forward to breaking the limitation of time and place and learning anytime and anywhere. In order to meet the demand of people, the online learning appeared. However, there is a problem,"Emotion Absence", which ignores the emotion fact of the users. As a new learning method, online learning ignored learners’ emotional state during the learning process. Moreover the separation makes the teachers can’t grasp the learners’ process in time, thus it is difficult to teach students in accordance of their aptitude, and the users can’t adjust their studying plan according to their real situation.To solve the problems of existing online learning model, this article directed by constructivism, postmodernism, cognitive psychology and other theories, also supported by affective computing, computer technology, pattern recognition technology, biometrics and other technologies, and put forward a kind of online learning system model with emotional state evaluation and learning process reengineering function (ER-TPRS, Expression Recognition and Teaching Process Reengineering System). The module modelled for recommendation engines, personalized recommendation mechanism, emotional state evaluation, learners’ learning process and learning effect evaluation and implemented the emotional recognition module, which achieved the purpose of the both education theory and technology, some extent, made up the demerit of "emotion absence" in online learning to some extent. The main works are presented as follows:(1) Design and implement the emotion recognition module.The module focused on learns’ emotional state, paid attention to the learners’ emotional state during the learning process and provided real-time feedback by facial expression recognition and fatigue testing technology. According to the result of feedback, the module will adjust the teaching process dynamically, improve the phenomenon of "emotion absence" in online learning and advance the learners’learning efficiency. (2) Put forward a comprehensive evaluation model, which combined with cognition, emotional state and self-assessment.The model that makes the cognition, emotional state and self-evaluation of learners as the factors of evaluating system changed the traditional evaluating system which scores predominate. Hence the model will show an education theory that pays more attention to the emotion of learners and the teaching process.
