The Research And Implementation Of Emotion Detection System For Online Learning

Online learning is a new way of learning for students through the network teaching platform,and it is a new open learning environment based on Internet technology and information technology.Compared with the traditional teaching,the online learning can provide convenient and efficient way of learning for its characteristics of time-and-space separation,but the disadvantage is that teachers can't observe the students' facial expressions to analyze students' learning mood and state and improve teaching strategies.In view of the defects of the current network teaching system,this paper studies and implements a network teaching system with emotional interaction.This paper studies the characteristics of network teaching and teaching psychology,design the online learning emotion model,this model is based on the awareness,excitement and aversion in three dimensions to describe online learners'affective.Cognition and attitude toward the main state information from learners obtain facial expressions of learners,mainly on the excitement of the eye fatigue degree were detected in order to obtain the learners' mental state.Based on the model design,we use the image processing technology to realize the online learning emotion detection system:The detection algorithm of face detection module in the online learning emotion detection system is designed,and focuses on how to reduce the search time of the facial feature points in order to meet the high real-time requirement of the online learning system.To identify the expression of learning awareness and attitude toward using SVM classifier based on CLM model;By extracting the learner's eye features,the PERCLOS method using the P80 standard to judge the degree of excitement of learners.Based on the HTML5 and Java programming technology,the online learning emotion detection system is designed and applied to the network teaching platform.In the implementation process,we fully consider the application scenarios,network traffic,server load and other factors,the entire image processing and recognition process in the WEB front-end,it solves the problem of using traditional methods to deal with the large number of servers,which is not suitable for the large number of online learning,which is caused by the WEB server processing of the complex image processing process.In this paper,through a comparative experiment on 25 students in a course,the learning state of the students is analyzed by using the three-dimensional learning emotion model.The results show that the online learning emotion detection system can provide a reliable way for teachers to understand the students' learning emotions.
