As one key technology of basic transmission network, Synchronous Digital Hierarchy has very wide range of applications. ECI is a company to develop a variety of small multi-service optical transmission device and multi-service wireless integrated communications equipment. When agile iterative development, product release cycle is very short, and each new version is released before the test which must ensure comprehensive coverage of function points. The business of SDH testing is often necessary to business formation, performance statistics and alarm real-time monitoring, testing workload is very large, only with traditional manual testing is hard to meet the testing requirements in a group, there is an urgent need to develop a set of automated test systems.Firstly, the status of communication product test automation testing is introduced, and the automated test scenarios of the current communications manufacturers are compared. Combined with the technical characteristics of the Robot Framework, a board Automatic Test System Based on Robot Framework is required. Secondly, major functions such as software loading, functional test and test report sharing, are discussed, and the core processes such as automatic test run, board business test and test report management are analyzed. Thirdly, the distributed architecture and of the entire board automatic test system is designed, board functional test system and test report system are detailed designed, and the design of test cases and test scripts based on Robot framework, the distributed architecture of Robot framework are emphasized. Finally, stability and expandability of the system are summarized. |
