As the fast developing of automotive industry and information technology, modern vehicle integrate more and more complex electronic units. To meet the requirement of managing increasing control units and making portable and compatibility among applications and control units from different supplier, there should be a uniform software management platform. OSEK/VDX operating system defines a series of standard interface for automotive embedded operating system and its services. This system keeps independent from application software and hardware, getting widely use.Our lab develops FDOSEK OS used for8bit chip according to OSEK/VDX specification under the support of National Core-High-Base Major Project. This system owns some features like low resource consuming, good performance on real time demand and stabilized running.Software testing is an important step during the developing procedure and the prerequisite of software quality and usability. Based on the FDOSEK that my lab developed, I conduct a lot of research and practice on functional test, especially on the following two aspects:1. In order to deal with the shortage of existing test method, I come up with flow-chart analytic method, which could fully cover test paths and reduce the redundancy of test case. It provides separate test case for each kind of conformance to enhance test efficiency.2. Developed automatic test tool. Automatic test software could not only improve work efficiency, which could save several dozen times the manual test, and could avoid manual operation errors, but also quickly adapts the changes of test cases.This article elaborates test theory and practice. Firstly, it introduces the background of OSEK/VDX operating system and FDOSEK OS that my lab developed. Then it states flow-chart analytical theory and method. At last, after the introduction of automatic test mechanism, it narrates how to conduct auto test step by step. The experimental result shows automatic test theory is helpful for functional test and at the same time auto test tool could greatly improve work efficiency, achieving very good expectation.
