Traditional enterprise desktop has some shortcomings:desktop is hard to be deployed and configured, hardware, OS and applications are difficult to maintain and update lack of data protection mechanism. Then it compares several solutions of desktop virtualization implementation. According to the real requirement on desktop virtualization, this paper proposes and implements a set of virtual desktop management system for office used. The desktop virtualization system provides not only benefits on desktop management, but also hold three key features to make it different from other solution. First it works together with the human resources management system. As soon as a new employee enrolled, he/she might get a new virtual desktop machine. The whole life cycle of the virtual machine is under management. Second, The system provides intelligent automatic power management feature, keeping the desktop virtual machine easily used, as while as reduce the power consumer. Finally, make virtual machines in the system to enable shared memory pages and other resources. As a result, the performance of the system is higher, while response time being improved.This paper also analyses and talks about the configuration of software and hardware, the network topologic, and so on.
