The Design And Implementation Of Istream Desktop System Based On PXE

With the emergence of desktop virtualization, IT management has undergone a revolution, the desktop virtualization is currently various in market forms, the more mature desktop virtualization solutions whose integration is complex and cost is high are suitable for the large and medium enterprises, so how to find a deployment solution of desktop virtualization used in the small enterprises has become a major problem faced by many companies.Based on the current study of desktop virtualization pattern, this paper puts forward a solution whose cost is low, and integration is simple, which is suitable for the small enterprises and education industry. This situation brings new development opportunities for the small enterprises and education industry deploying desktop virtulization system. The contents of this paper are as follows:1) Summarize the related research of desktop virtualization, domestic and overseas, and analyze the problems of existing achievements.2) Study the related contents of desktop virtualization, and put forward a desktop virtualization solution based on client computing pattern. On the basis of summarizing advantages and disadvantages and application scenarios which exists in desktop virtualization pattern, design the virtual desktop infrastructure, and then offer ingredients of server and client in detail.3) Discuss deeply the design of disk virtualization and image management, including the design of diskless, local and master disk and sub-disk.4) Design and implement of the Istream Desktop system based on PXE, and describe in detail the whole software development process, including system requirement, system design, system implementation, and system testing.
