With the internet coming into widely use in China, people’s consumption models are beginning to change. E-commerce is continuously challenging the traditional business with the advantages of time, area, cost and sale models. The value of insurance E-commerce has been generally recognized. On the one hand, the youth and the intellectual are increasingly hoping to get the insurance service through internet, on the other hand, e-commerce platform, as the direct sale channel for insurance agents, can easily get consumers’ information, increase customer viscosity and enhance the brand value of the insurance agents. At the same time, the construction of supporting facility systems like credit, logistics and payment makes shopping on line more convenient. So the convenient E-commerce platform is necessary for both customers and insurance agents.On the foundation of the researching in presenting situation of E-commerce, related key technology and requirements, the necessity of designing E-commerce platform for insurance sale is pointed out in this thesis. According to the function of this E-commerce platform, the designed system is divided into four main parts as consumer service center, sale center, Website data analysis center and Content Management System Website building center. The customer view level adopts the quick-response design concept, AJAX asynchronous communication and JSON format data. The business logical level uses Spring and Hibernate to separate the control level from the business logical level, and the realization of data transfer is based on the communication between the Web service frame and the external interfaces from the other systems. Those will feature the system with high coherence, low coupling and make the system easy to control, expand and distribute resources. This platform provides functions including customized products, on-line sales, and automatic checking and acceptance. The customers can achieve the online service at any time and any place; instead of receiving compulsive recommendations from insurance intermediary negatively. Since there are no intermediate links, the system can also help consumers save cost and keep their personal information secret. The insurance agents can get closer to consumers’ insurance habits and product requirements through Website data analysis to design more excellent insurance products for choosing. This platform has been applied to several insurance agents and application effect is good which improves the efficiency greatly and saves sale cost.
