Mobile Internet is a hot topic in recent years. With the development of science and technology, penetration of mobile terminal brings the development of the mobile Internet. As a new media, mobile device plays a more and more important role in people’s daily life. Application is the core of smart mobile devices, and its design extends the basic function of mobile devices; a lot of people think the Mobile Internet is the Internet of application. As hot spot of Mobile Internet, the development of application draws great attention from worldwide developers. Many leading companies have introduced their mobile applications, and added more and more functions on that platform. Because of the fierce competition with mass applications,meeting users’ deep emotional need has become an important soft power for application designers. Offering the basic interface and operating experience is not able to guarantee application standing out from similar products. As a result, design based on the emotional user experience will be direction of application’s research and development. How to establish emotional user experience in mobile application, how to incorporate emotional interaction design into application’s research and development, and how to evaluate of the effect, will be the problems solved in this paper.At first, this paper expounds the research status quo of interaction design, user experience and related theories; introduces the corresponding human emotions, three levels of emotional design development history as well asthe present situation; reflect the latest Internet marketing theory based on the status quo of mobile device development. Secondly, we recall development history of the mobile Internet devices’ characteristics, and summarize the new features differentiating from the traditional computer. These new features are the basis of the application design, and they indicate the direction of the mobile Internet. Then the paper introduces the development history of application, and summarizes the development trend of the socialization, personalization and localization. Combiningtheories of emotional design, the author firstly explains what is the concept of emotional interaction design in the section of the emotional interaction design in mobile application design, and he explains how emotional factors is blended in for outstanding application on the market based on the three levels of emotional interaction design. These factors promote interaction and enjoyable experience, and also consist with the latest Internet marketing theories. Then the author studies the case of mobile instant messaging software—Wetalk by observation and questionnaire methods. Through data analysis,he proves that the emotional factors are relevant for the user experience of mobile applications. Finally, the author summarizes that the emotional design is helpful for interaction designof the application and illustrates the shortcomings of the study.
