The development of the Internet made the sources of the knowledge and the emotion which are among people become more and more diversified. The implementation of virtual communication, make people set up all kinds of social networks on the Internet, such as special network, education network, etc. Virtual learning community is widely concerned by educational circles which is a new implementation approach for educational information. Their own virtual, learning, community has made it become a kind of new web-based learning organization which becomes a platform to communicate and spread the knowledge for more and more people.In the virtual learning community, the participants establish the personal network connection through the net and the resulting social relation network is the foundation of the emergence and development of virtual learning community. The paper using social network analysis method and theory selects "Gao-You Teacher Education Virtual Community" as the research object. In the overall level, with the community diagram and the relationship matrix, this paper measures the overall network structure characteristics from density and distance. At the micro level, this paper research analysis the network internal substructure which is from condensing subgroup analysis and core-edge structure, aiming to simplify the complex network. On the network location level, this paper analysis community members’position and role from mind, structural equivalence and the structure hole. At the same time, this paper using the content analysis as auxiliary, studies the interaction of community network quality and depth.Research results show that the network of the virtual learning community density is small, the network structure is relatively loose, there are isolated nodes, a large number of marginal figures and two distinct emphasis. The network has a large number of factions, and factional overlap degree is higher, but the lower level of social members assembling. The network interactive asymmetry, existing members of the structural equivalence and hole, and the information is in a few hands. Interaction between network members is not high, lacking depth interaction. Finally, basis on the research’s results, this paper puts forward some perfecting suggestions, such as encouraging individuals actively constructing network, paying attention to cultivating the core members, artificial intervention in improving the quality of interactive content, and establishing community culture in order to increase network members’interactive efficiency.
