localization of the node is a difficult problem in wireless sensor networks (WSN),the development and progress of science and technology cause the requirements of wireless sensor network localization are increasing, A reasonable positioning technology is the biggest factor for developing the scope of application of wireless sensor networks, so improved positioning technology embodied in hardware design and improve node localization algorithm. To verify the TDOA positioning method can effectively run on the hardware system, and in order to meet two TDOA positioning mode.this paper design a SNCMicaz positioning system based on the principle of TDOA, and Verify the trilateral localization algorithm by this positioning experiments.The main work of this paper is divided into two parts:Part I:An TDOA location algorithm, a co-located positioning method based on a improved PSO algorithm and Taylor algorithm is proposed, Under different noise, through MATLAB simulation showed that:the improved TDOA location method in positioning accuracy, convergence of the algorithm in terms of both higher CHAN algorithm, Taylor algorithm, the standard PSO algorithm, SelPSO algorithm.Part II:After completing the first part of the work, using TDOA positioning principle to design a positioning system SNC_Micaz. To improve the positioning accuracy, the system design by the ultrasonic signal and the RF signal calculating the time difference. And last complete a trilateral localization algorithm experiments on this system.The experimental results showed that:In this paper, the positioning algorithm has a significant effect on the positioning accuracy and convergence, the system can achieve centimeter accuracy node localization experiments so the system can provided to be an experimental platform for positioning algorithm of this paper.
