Yunnan Broadcasting Station is one of China’s three overseas broadcastingfrequencies, and the Voice of Shangri-La is the only one overseas broadcastingfrequency of Yunnan Broadcasting Station. During the course of cross-boundary andcross-cultural communication of the Voice of Shangri-La, the most important thing isto have a clear role positioning. The function of role positioning is to ensure thatbroadcasting frequency can get to understand listeners’ ideas in an all-round way fromnational culture to living environment so as to act accurately and enhancebroadcasting effect.Different positioning should match different communication strategies. The rolepositioning of broadcasting frequency, except positioning of the frequency itself,targeting different programs, should also have different program planning, scientificusage and management of personnel policy, as well as assisting application of newmedia and new technologies. The more detailed the details are, the more accurate thepositioning is, and the more specific the strategy is, the greater the effect is.Influencing factors of radio frequency communication effect in addition to therole positioning and communication strategy, and communication channelsã€transmission mechanism of the influence and restriction, the target audience of stateideology and cultural tradition difference, China’s foreign broadcasting the quality ofstaff and line power. In these ways, the voice of Shangri-la also has manyshortcomings.The voice of Shangri-la in the advantaged geography and humanitiesenvironment, another country bridgehead construction of fiscal support, the voice ofthe Shangri-la international broadcasting has become distinctive influential frequencyprovided a favorable external environment.
