Facing the increasingly intelligent world, modern enterprise system of highefficiency and safety of the requirements of the more and more is also high.Embedded System no doubt the incomparable plays a role. Face feature with itsunique safety, easy to accept, and only sex characteristics, more and more get people’sattention. The face recognition application to checking attendance system can be goodto improve the enterprise operation efficiency and guarantee the enterprise internalresource allocation security and fairness.The paper first introduced the face recognition, embedded system andattendance access control system at home and abroad and the research status. Wediscussed the attendance access control system hardware environment, softwareenvironment in several chapters. Also intstruct the Adaboost face detectionalgorithm is based on the basic principle and the VC++code, and based on theactual office location analysis the defects of the method. We researched the2DPCAalgorithm based on block and improve it. New method realized significantlyimprovement than2DPCA algorithm in the robustness and recognition rate.On this basis, realize the Windows CE operating system custom, using theU-BOOT download image files, and guide the operating system startup. Wesuccessed build up of TQ2440platform based on Windows CE operating system.Then, using the tools of production TQ2440SDK, will Adaboost algorithm based onclass face detection and intermediate values block2DPCA algorithm to facerecognition attendance access control system, and based on the thoroughintroduction VS2008platform graphical interface design and development. Finallyrealized based on TQ2440development board attendance access control system.
