MATLAB image-based image processing technology is one of the most widely used algorithm simulation technology. What’s more, ARM chip-based embedded technology has now become the front technology in the field of image processing and electronic hardware.Digital image-based technology of building the metal surface layer three-dimensional macroscopic morphology, three-dimensional macro-morphology of different reflectivity of the material combination of surface construction method belongs to the surface observation and measurement of scientific and technological fields, specifically related to three-dimensional macroscopic morphology construction method of a different reflection rate of material surface.This paper uses the advantages of MATLAB image processing and hardware implementation of the ARM embedded system to apply pixel gray value in two-dimensional image surface as the third dimension, accomplishing a three-dimensional image recovery method based on ARM embedded system, the specific application of MATLAB7.0software environment simulation and the TQ2440embedded development board hardware modules to develop.The experimental results show the reasonable and correct technical route, the good applicability, which can better achieve the three-dimensional reconstruction of the surface.
