Epson products have maintained high share in domestic market of computer peripherals for many years and established good brand image in a vast customer base. In order to better maintain customer relations, Epson launchs a large service force nationwide, which is resulted in the lack of accurate monitoring for post authority management of the service personnel at different levels as well as after-sales services and the realizing real-time interactive transfer of service data in the existing service management model. Accordingly, the service resources and cost are wasted. The Epson repair information system (RIS) developed based on.NET Framework 3.5 is built an interactive management platform for Epson, after-sales service providers and customers. At last, these key problems which the post authority management of the service personnel as well as after-sales services of status and the realizing real-time interactive transfer of service data are resolved.At first, the lack of personnel authority management and monitoring of after-sales services as well as the out-of-time service data in Epson are discussed, which is followed by the discussion on the feasibility for the development of Epson's RIS based on NET 3.5. On such a basis, the key functions of Epson RIS such as equipment maintenance management, spare parts application management, business query and chart analysis and import as well as such core processes as repair authorization, spare parts export authorization and chart business management are analyzed. And then the structural design of Epson RIS is analyzed, and detailed design is carried out for such core subsystem as maintenance, spare parts management with modularized methods and the automatic management of the system for realizing core processes of the system based on.NET WWF technology are discussed mainly. At last, the insufficiencies in system application are analyzed.
