Site Network Resource Management System Design And Implementation

Communication network is the critical infrastructure of the communications operators. Management of network resources affects the comprehensive service quality of the operators and communications network security and stability. The on-site network is an important part of the telecommunication network, the management of on-site network resource is the foundation of all maintenance activities. Querying the network resource fast, locating the fault port efficiency, improving the efficiency of the network maintenance and ensuring the accuracy of the resources label is the guarantee of better customer service and stable operations of network. The trends in network resource management are to improve the level and strengthen the support of the network maintenance through electronic tools.This thesis first described recent trends in network resource management, and illustrated existing inadequacies of network resource management. The technology and tools this system used was introduced. With the network maintenance process analysis, the detail functional requirements on network resource management system were elaborated. According to the demands, this thesis also designed the system to realize the management and query of resources, and also the ordinary label output functions. The system used the C/S architectures, SQL Server 2005 as the database and the MFC application wizard as the development tool. In order to support the on-site maintenance, the system also used control principles on SMS of serial communications. After that, each function which has been implemented was introduced and the key codes were described in detail, the operation process was also described. Finally, the thesis summarized the work, and follow-up work was discussed.This system will improve the efficiency of network resource management, and will provide a strong support to the on-site maintenance.
