Wireless mesh networks (Wireless Mesh Network) referred to WMN, is a new distributed wireless communication network with high-capacity, high-speed, multi-hop broadband. Enjoying the characteristics of self-organization and self-healing, it has been widely used in the field of home broadband network, enterprise network, MAN, building automation and intelligent transportation systems.This article firstly introduces the definition, structure, properties and application of experimental network environment of wireless mesh networks, and describes in a comprehensive manner on hardware, operating systems, top layer software and the compilation process. Meanwhile, this article analyses the main structure of the agreement by taking into account the roofnet research project held by Industry Academy of Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Introduced by SRCRR, the most suitable wireless mesh network protocol, practical optimization of experimental tests will be able to conduct. The principle is to design appropriate routing agreement so that people can carry on the overall deployment experiment of indoor wireless network complete coverage through building a wireless mesh network simulation environment. This article introduces the theory, routing architecture and design on the basis of SRCRR route design concept of CLICK modular route, analyses design theory of route agreement, as well as the route agreement SRCRR from the perspective of the overall structure and characteristics of wireless mesh network. Furthermore, this article, being engaged from the important parameters of protocol algorithm, analyzes the design ideas, finds out the shortcomings and improves accordingly. Therefore experimental data has been eventually optimized.Lastly, to draw a conclusion to the entire article and forecast the follow-up research.
