Host Computer Electromagnetic Leakage Of Red And Black Signal Analysis

With the rapid development and wide applications of the information technology and computer technology , the computer play an increasingly important role in the military, government, business. As a equipment for data and information processing,Working computers will inevitably launch electromagnetic waves into the surrounding environment, that produces electromagnetic radiation.Since these electromagnetic radiation signals not only have rich spectral components, but carries a lot of useful information, which resulted in the leakage of information,posed a serious threat to information security and confidentiality of information .Electromagnetic leakage of the host computer studies, not only have a significance in the field of national security,but also become increasingly prominent in the field of commercial trade secrets and personal privacy protection.This article analyzes and studies the electromagnetic leakage of the host computer information for red and black signal.At first,the radiation model of host computer was elaberated by the electromagnetic radiation leak pathway. Second, associated theories with what electromagnetic leakage of the host computer are described.Followed,experiments which electromagnetic leakage of host computer were maked by frequency domain measurements in anechoic chamber,and they obtain test data in various parts of the electromagnetic leakage.The test data was analyzed for Spectral properties of the host computer,the study obtain radiation mechanism of electromagnetic information leakage, leakage of signal radiation patterns and information.Taking out the electromagnetic radiation characteristics of the main components, and in order to carry out the separation of red and black signals.Refer to the lack of relatived information and study, electromagnetic signals of the measured host computer were treatd by FFT(Fast Fourier transform).The experiments obtained some very valuable data. Based on the experimental test for electromagnetic leakage of the host computer,this article achieved the desired results,which can be used as the work of the foundation and basis for the further research and TEMPEST.
