With the development of networking technology, live streaming system is becoming one of the core business of Internet and call more and more attention. A lot of success commercial systems have showed its viability in the Internet. However, existing systems didn't handle live streaming on large scale well, especially on a chunking system.This thesis has researched the two popular live streaming technology, CDN and P2P. Through combining the reliability of CDN and scalability of P2P, and taking advantage of the position information CDN owned, we designed a new live streaming model.This new live streaming model is a Double Hybrid Model, which are hybrid CDN-P2P, and hybrid Tree-Mesh. This model mainly elaborates the system architecture, CDN ability partition, construct of CoreTree and peer selection Algorithm. And through the system simulation, we verify the Superiority of this system compared with other popular architecture. |
