To be one of the most important industries in national economy-Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry has made great strides in recent years. The market and production scope of enterprise are getting bigger and bigger, so the enterprise information penetrate into daily management of the FMCG enterprise. However, these systems tend to focus on their own professional fields. The systems among the enterprise, and the systems between the interior and external enterprise are lack of necessary connection. "Information Islands" is hard for the further information. Hardly can it support the daily management of the enterprise. Therefore, how to make the different systems conformable to each other among the enterprise becomes a tough problem to be solved.First of all, the thesis introduces the concept, model and protocol of Enterprise Application Integration and Web Services, explains in detail the core protocol stack of the Web Services:SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. Accordingly, it analyzes the deficiencies of the traditional EAI and the use of Web Services technology to carry out the advantages of heterogeneous system integration.Secondly, the thesis analyzes the demand for FMCG Enterprise heterogeneous system integration, proposes a Web Services-based integration of heterogeneous model of the design. By using tiered approach to heterogeneous system integration model, design is divided into five layers:Data layer, Application logic layer, Web Services layer, UDDI layer and Presentation/Call layer. Each layer to achieves a particular function:the data layer achieve data transfer between heterogeneous systems, mutual understanding; the appl ication logic layer is responsible for dealing with the integration of logic and abstract; the Web Services layer makes the object interface Web-based and oriented service, packages the messages and makes messages security. All of the functions of Web Services layer make interoperability across systems possible. UDDI layer implements the registration, distribution and queries of the web service. Presentation layer achieves the user interface to be integrated and makes cross-application functionality can be integrated in one interface. And each layer provides services to the other layers, it makes the whole design model has the characteristics of high cohesion and loose coupling.Connected with the FMCG company environment, the model design uses AXIS as a technology platform, with WSS4J, UDDI4J and other technology assistance. It can realize heterogeneous system integration in the FMCG company, including internal integration of the FMCG company-A2A integration such as Legacy system and Call Center system integration, and cross entity integration of the FMCG company-B2B integration such as supply chain integration. That demonstrates the Web Services-based integration framework model of effectiveness, versatility, scalability and low cost nature.Finally, the thesis makes some summaries and suggests improvements and further research directions.
