With the improvement of the living standard, great progress made in society, and the rapid development of medical and health services, there is an increasing demand in the quality of life, health care and the medical treatment level. While the global aging population increasing and social labour of relative decreasing, the situation of the old people especially the disadvantaged groups those cannot provide for themselves cannot get good care is widespread, and on increasing.In view of this, a network monitoring system of Intelligent-Nurse based on wireless networking about ZigBee is presented in this thesis. The system has advantages such as auto-network, low cost, high transmission rate and strong reliability, it can achieve the need of monitoring satisfactorily. As an exploratory research about wireless networking system of Intelligent-Nurse, this paper introduces the system development from the aspects of hardware of Intelligent-Nurse, ZigBee networking and monitoring center administration software particularly. It not only realizes the over all of patient care, but also achieve the acquisition and centralized monitoring of Intelligent-Nurse information.According to the design requirements, the hardware of Intelligent-Nurse is mainly composed of the host machine, dirt recovery unit, cleaning equipment, drying installation, bath apparatus, massage and rehabilitation unit and man-machine interaction and long distance communication device. This part introduces in detail the principle of work about Intelligent-Nurse and the design of main hardware interface circuitry. The master chip of control section is PIC18F87K22 made by Microchip, it has the characteristics of programmable and high durable flash drive with 128K, high efficiency, wide work voltage range,16 bus commands, nanoWatt technology, energy-efficient, SPI and I2C serial communications. The basic control function of remote control, automatic or manual can be implemented. It meets the design requirement of Intelligent-Nurse.As a new type of wireless networking technology, ZigBee has shot distance, low rate and power consumption, low-cost, short time delay, high security and capacity and many other advantages. This system establishes a communication link by means of between Intelligent-Nurse and ZigBee terminals, terminals and coordinator, coordinator and monitoring center administration. It achieves the expected function of the system.Through the functional analysis of monitor system, the software consists of primary thread, communicating thread, voice thread and many others. In order to improve the data processing rate, the single data receiving thread and data processing thread is built. The data processing thread checks the data which received from senior machine, and then the data will be stored in the database. Compared with the last operational data before renew the tree folder of primary thread. The primary thread delves into its database in real time to suit customer requirements. At the same time, the primary thread should perform many functions, such as login and log out of the Intelligent-Nurse, Config-Admin, report inquiry according to the conditions.This paper is to offer an idea in health care design. In order to develop full-featured Intelligent-Nurse used in family and hospital, achieve network monitoring, satisfy the old people and special groups lay the foundation for the future. On this basis, the community monitoring and remote monitoring will be come true.
