With the development of high-speed train, the reliable wireless data transmission between the train ATP system and the balise is facing with great challenges. Strict standards and requirements are set, which is about the installation of balise in three directions which are X-axis (parallel the rail), Y-axis (perpendicular to the rail) and Z-axis (perpendicular to the rail surface), and it becomes a problem to test and maintain regularly the installed balise. In addition, the data of line side electronic unit (LEU) is transmitted to active balise via the DBPL signal and it's important to detect that whether the technical require about DBPL signal is met. Recently, the installation location of balise is measured manually or by some mechanical aid, and the test efficiency and precision is low. Standard of DBPL signal detection is not set and the detection precision is low. In this thesis, comprehensive measuring system of balise is researched, by which the installation location of balise can be measured accurately and DBPL signal can be detected respectively, which is advanced.The system is composed of the displacement sensors, measuring mechanical devices, handheld instrumentation, DBPL signal source, detection circuit of DBPL signal and PC application software. Integration of the measurement and the data management is implemented. In this thesis, the data communication and data management of the measuring system and software correction of measuring errors are explored and investigated.The main contents are as follows:1. The design of the PC application software is achieved under the integrated development environment of LabWindows/CVI. The general UI (user interface) design method is studied, and the UI is realized. The serial communication technology is researched, and the communications between the PC application software and the instrument are realized via the asynchronous serial communication of custom frame format and the multi-threading technology. The general method of database design is studied, and the data management system is achieved, instituted by the using of database technology.2. The factors of systematic errors are analyzed, and the general method of test system software correction and the important algorithm are studied, and the calibration method of distance measurement and signal detection are instituted separately. In the application software, uploading and downloading calibration data to the measurer, processing test data and managing parameters are integrated. The expected design requirements are met by the measuring system whose accuracy is corrected via software.3. In addition, a DBPL signal source was developed because of the need of the measuring system, and the DBPL encoding and signal synthesizing is preliminary explored. The DBPL signal source meets the requirements of signal detection circuit.
