Zhanjiang is located in the tropical north. It has a sub-humid monsoon climate. Influenced by the low-latitude tropical weather systems and high-latitude weather systems in turn, Zhanjiang has a complicated and volatile weather climate. Frequent meteorological disasters have caused significant economic losses and casualties. How to use existing knowledge to better serve the meteorological community is an important topic of the information industry in Zhanjiang . Weather information expert system will not only help Zhanjiang climate research, but also be a friendly communication platform for the experts , scholars and the public.This thesis describes the design and implementation of the meteorological information in Zhanjiang municipal expert system, through the collection of meteorological services in Zhanjiang history and current status data. This thesis explores the value and significance of the system in the current context and provides professional services with local characteristics. This thesis focuses on the requirement analysis and overall design of the system. It designed the function, interface and database in detail and tested the system. This thesis eventually developed the Zhanjiang municipal meteorological information expert system. This system includes ASP.NET technology, three-tier architecture and SQL SERVER 2005 technology.Zhanjiang municipal meteorological information expert system is a public information network platform. It provides more comprehensive, immediate, fast and convenient information collaboration. It is not only can provide specific weather information to the majority engaged in farming, aquaculture, but also can provide accurate meteorological reference to industrial production. It can ensure the safety in production sectors and provide strong meteorological support for the development of industry and agriculture in Zhanjiang. The system provides a variety of weather-related index of daily life, life knowledge to serve the public.
