This paper is intensive research and development to the interoperability of Windows puzzle simulator based on Space operating system interoperabilityThrough the analysis about principles of puzzle game console and basic framework of puzzle simulator, this paper researches the various differences it depended between windows and Space operating system, and then analyzes required dependent libraries to run puzzle simulator, DirectX and so on. In order to run Windows puzzle simulator in Space operating system, binary image need to be loaded and started, supported from essential hardware drivers by Space kernel and DirectX.Through the above analysis, this paper proposes a design of platform to run Windows puzzle simulator in Space operating system and implements it. It consists of five parts: Windows kernel server layer, drive adaptation layer, PE file interpreter, Windows dynamic link library core and DirectX. The difference about process/thread management mechanism, etc between windows and Space operating system is compensated by Windows kernel server layer; drive adaptation layer is used to supply essential hardware driver interface to Windows kernel server layer, including the support to joystick and other input devices; PE file interpreter is used to load PE file format PE puzzle simulator in Space operating system; Windows dynamic link library core consists of built-in DLLs from SpaceServer and native DLLs from Windows; DirectX is prerequisite of puzzle simulator to draw and render image.Finally, on the basis above, this paper has improved interoperability mechanism for Windows applications in Space operating system. Through the implementation of Windows puzzle simulator interoperability, the puzzle simulators for PS2, PS and Arcade have been successfully executed in Space operating system which also proves the correctness of puzzle simulator technology proposed by this paper.
