In real life, the image contains a lot of color information, color information is rich, and one according to which color information can identify the information as expressed in things, even though the eye itself, the information will be able to distinguish the gray, but gray degree of information out of the image itself, to express the amount of information, after all, is limited,color images are expressed in some of the characteristics of gray-scale images that are not able to speak out. In the real world on many occasions, such as medical, industrial, multi-media technology, visual and so on, are often interested in the color image expressed by the color information, while such a multi-media effects of more people to extract a useful amount of information, more its easy to make the right judgments. System based on Altera's DE2-70 multi-media platform resources to SD card as memory, storage, have to deal with grayscale images, the gray-scale image from the SD card to read the digital manner, while stored in the SDRAM, the re-In the NiosⅡIDE environment, write algorithm processing program will handle the final outcome of Youyi BMP image formats stored on the SD card, and VGA monitors display processing results. The system of pseudo-color image processing applications implemented on FPGA can be cut, scalable, can be upgraded with software and hardware system programmable functions. Through the final results to be processed to achieve the algorithms of data comparing results. Through the SD memory data, decoding, processing and display, making the image storage simple and convenient. Using QuartusⅡ8.0 and SOPC builder design software design components, timing and functional simulation, using SOPC Builder to quickly build hardware systems, while taking advantage of NiosⅡprocessor system can be configured features, flexible design memory and peripherals to make the system to build more flexible, and enables software and hardware co-development, making the system more efficient structures, but also provides a new embedded system design.
