With the economic and social development, electricity has become the most important source of energy for the people's daily work and life. Due to a variety of reasons, the current data of transmission line are incomplete, and the accuracy of the information is not high, and it does not match the status quo. On the other hand, our existing data of transmission lines are existing with the drawings, diagrams and other forms for record keeping, management in artificial is inefficient. With the development of science and technology, network construction of modernization is accelerated, to adopt new technology and method for effective management of power lines, satisfy decision-making departments, administrative departments and the construction units need has become a top priority. This thesis is to address the problem of a transmission line resource management information system as the main object of study, in-depth analysis of industry data characteristics of transmission line resource management, based on the functional structure of the data model and design aspects of the in-depth study. The main results are as follows:1. The transmission line data characteristics and user functional requirements are investigated in detail. The system structure is designed in object-oriented method, system function modules are carved out, and each module specific functional is also expressed using UML diagrams.2. The database concept model are built in UML with Power Designer and the method of Firebird physical database generation are discussed.3. Using Embarcadero Code Gear database programming tools for development is described, and attribute data maintenance function of the line and tower, the basic function of query etc. are realized in the prototype system.
