Network Behavior Monitoring System Design And Implementation

How to normalize and control the behavior of the computer in the LAN of the enterprise, to guarantee for the network traffic of the business, to provide convenience for the important news of the enterprise, to improve the office efficiency and production efficiency, to ensure the enterprise LAN working healthy, safety and availably has become the focus for the manager of the enterprise LAN.The paper describes the work of the author in the Network information security innovation project of Yuankuang Cathay Coal Chemicals Co. Ltd. the current situation of the LAN, the feature of the business flow are researched in this work firstly. Then, the Network Behavior Monitoring System (NBMS) is designed and tested. The work includes the contents as following.1 In order to make available policy of LAN monitor and deploy the system Network Behavior Monitoring System, the status of the LAN, including network topology structure, network scale, the composition of the network traffic and the flow characteristics, is researched firstly.2 Based on the detailed analysis of the business needs and the judge of the necessary business flow, the function modules of the NBMS is presented. It must work with the condition of the implementation of the normal business of the enterprise.3 To integrate the NBMS with all kinds of the working platforms for office automation, the feature of all platforms are studied to decide the technical route of the NBMS.4 Some modules of the NBMS (Server resources monitoring, user management, system login and system maintenance) for client are designed and coded in this work.
