Asp.net Network Teaching Assistant Platform-based Design And Realization

Network teaching platform, on the basis of modern information technology and educational theories, is the software system which provide comprehensive service for remote network teaching. With modern educational technology and network technology development and their integration, it has already become an important subject to build a new lifelong learning model which breaks tradition, space and time limits. It is meaningful to build an open network teaching platform, which can overcome the limits in traditional education, make full use of the teaching information resources in colleges, and improve campus teaching and service.This thesis is intended to design and develope an efficient and easy-handling network teaching platform. In the platform, the students are the center and the teachers are the instructors. The platform provides interactive learning environment and cultivates students'self-learning and cooperative learning abilities. The platform can support different teaching stages, including sharing teaching resources, releasing teaching ppt, accumulating teaching materials, communicating, completing homework, testing and answering doubts in internet, etc. The platform can also update and extend its functions to satisfy concrete course requirements, which is practical and flexible and easy to control cost.This platform adopts object-oriented design method combined with software engineering theory. UML language and its modeling tools are used to give the platform a visual description. The whole platform adopts B/S four-layer structure, ASP.NET is used as server-side languang, SQL Server 2005 is used as the background database, ADO.NET database access technology is applied, and the latest user experience technology Ajax and XML are used. The platform is functional, operational and with a clean interface. It is an advanced teaching aid system.
