With the rapid development of computer technology and information management technology, management information system has been used in many fields. Because the current food and drugs security problem is day by day serious, food and drug supervision departments is put forward higher requirements on work quality and efficiency. The traditional manual method is insufficient to satisfy the high grade examination work, therefore, we need to study and develop a food and drug supervise information system to improve the quality of work of Food and Drug Administration.This paper uses the software engineering ideas, methods, and adopts web service technology to research and discuss how to develop a safe and practical food and drug supervise information system.Firstly, this thesis discusses the research background, purpose and meaning, then it carries on the discussion to our country food and drug supervise information system 's present situation, and analyze the necessity of developing food and drug supervise information system. Secondly, we research the Food and Drug Administration of Jiangxi Province organizational structure, business processes, required a detailed analysis of the function; thirdly, we research on food and drug inspection system architecture design, module design, database design, and finally realize the system, finally, we have carried on the summary and the outlook.This thesis designs and implement a food and drug supervise information system based on web service, which has strong scalability and simplicity to facilitate the maintenance of capacity, which can reliable and stable operation and provide a strong security access mechanism and a certain ease of use. The system is used for the daily management of food and drug supervision departments of work, reducing the burden on food and drug inspection unit, and increase management efficiency, while making at all levels of food and drug supervision and management departments standardized, highly efficient.
