In 1990s, Chinese scholars introduced the "social support",and conducted extensive research. In the late 1990s,scholars began to study social support of elderly people, and so deepened and enriched the study of social support. Social support study of elderly mostly concentrated in Chinese Han culture circles, the ethnic minorities as research subjects is less, especially for social support of Tibet elderly.In this paper, Rikaze Urban Elder is object of study, and to reveal social support situation of national regional urban elderly from content of social support (financial support, life care support and spirit support) and sources of social support (formal support and informal support); formal support and informal support play the role in the elderly life; Finally, on this basis,make appropriate recommendations and ways to build national regional urban elderly social support system,and to improve the quality of their supported.The study used questionnaires and interviews to collect information. Survey sample constitute of 529 more than 60 years older. Make use of SPSS12.0 soft to do statistical analysis, and using descriptive statistics, chi-square test and other statistical analysis.This study as follows: 1.Rikaze urban elderly receive a higher degree of social support, and have higher satisfaction of social support.2.Rikaze urban elderly's social support system is Commonwealth of the formal support and informal support, family members of the informal support is mainly source of elderly later life, their effects are mainly reflected in the life care support and spirit support, the formal support and complement the main complement its role is mainly in the financial support.3.Relatives and non-relatives relationship as an effective resource play a unique role in Rikaze city elderly social support systems.4. The elderly receive social support provided by a particular role because of their own sex, age, marital status is different.
